At JDCM, we have a wealth of experience in Roofing and Construction Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantify (IDIQ) contracts throughout the Western Region.
Our services include: roof maintenance and repairs, total roof replacement, moisture intrusion and inspection services, interior and exterior renovations, plumbing, horizontal and vertical concrete, electrical, telecommunication, and painting. We also provide a variety of quality construction management services, project management, quality control management, and job site safety management. Additionally, we provide A/E services to include: full scale design services, plan & specification preparation, total building envelope technology (roof, windows, walls and waterproofing), roof consulting, and re-roofing design/build services.
We have performed the above-mentioned services, both as a prime contractor and subcontractor, for numerous Federal Government Agencies such as: Department of the Air Force, Department of Labor, General Services Administration (GSA), NAVFAC, Air National Guard, Department of the Army, U.S. Forestry Service, and National Park Service.
Summary of Scope of Work: Removal existing single ply roof down to the existing deck. Install new roof insulation board (R-30) and installation of new Carlisle 90 mil EPDM roof system with Factory Applied Tape (FAT). Remove and replace all edge metal flashing and gutters and downspouts with conductor heads. Remove existing mechanical room door and framing and installation of new custom mechanical room double door to allow proper roof flashings. Provide a 20 Year No Dollar Limit (NDL) Manufacturer Warranty.
Summary of Scope of Work: Remove and dispose of existing shingle roof system. Install new ply wood sheathing. Install new self adhering roof membrane underlayment. Install new Certainteed Architectural Shingles roof system. This Project was a Design Build and had to meet Historic Preservation requirements.
Summary of Scope of Work: Remove and dispose of both the built-up low slope and pitched metal roofing systems complete down to the substrates, including insulation. Remove and dispose of the gutter system and cap internal pipe drains. Provide solid substrate covering of vacated gutter space tying in substrate for a flat, even surface to the plywood substrate. Provide a new standing seam metal roof system for steep slopped sections of the building. Include gutters, downspouts, trim, and accessories in order to provide a leak-free roofing system. Provide a new metal fascia, in accordance with the approved design, which includes 22-guage continuous cleat and 22-guage Kynar coated fascia. Additional features of this portion of construction include new metal copings with under-layments of various sized lumber and replacement of deteriorated existing plywood substrate
Summary of Scope of Work: Remove and dispose of existing built up roofing including insulation, roofing felt and cap sheets to expose bare substrate on hangar roof and utility building. Inspect existing roof deck and notify contracting officer of areas requiring repair or replacement. Repair or replace roof deck (22 gauge or heavier steel) prior to installation of new roofing material (22 gauge). Install 1-1/2" roofing insulation and standing seam metal roofing. replace 10"x12" gutters, 6" downspouts, flashing, gravel stop, counterflashing, roof curbs and vent pipe flashing with new. provide anchor ties on utility building roof to allow personnel to safely perform required maintenance on the roof.
Summary of Scope of Work: Contractor shall remove 166,600 Square Feet of existing Built Up Roof. Provide APP MB (Aractic Polypropylene Modified Bituminous) roof system with 4" insulation in highlighted areas A & B. Provide APP MB roof system ¼ tapered insulation. Install new gravel stop, gutter, downspout, walkpads, wood nailer, base flashing, metal counter flashing, roof drain, vent pipe flashing per 2014 NCRA Roofing Manual. Replace all roof drains (including new drain strainer and cast iron drain bowl) and repair the drain pipe near garden area. Provide asbestos testing and reports. Provide minimum two years labor and 20 years manufacturer warranty
